Apple Tasting Weekends
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Oct. 1 to 2 and Oct. 8 to 9

Savor flavor-filled bites of apples served by Master Gardeners from the University of Minnesota! Visitors can help the university apple scientists by rating each apple according to size, texture, and flavor, in hopes of discovering the best-tasting apple. The apples offered in the tastings are still part of the testing process, which means they are numbered varieties that are currently unnamed.

Zombie Pub Crawl

Get ready for a frighteningly fun time by joining a horde of undead souls in the Warehouse District of downtown Minneapolis! Officially recognized as the “World’s Largest Gathering of Zombies” by the Guinness Book of World Records, this unforgettable event treats visitors to a night of pub crawling, live performances, dancing, and other exciting activities.

Already on its 13th year, this year’s Zombie Pub Crawl features two outdoor stages, a multitude of participating bars and food trucks, incredible live music, Schell’s Brewing’s limited-edition “Brain Belt” beer, the World Brain-Eating Championships, and much, much more.
